Twenty minutes north of the Cairns City Center in Tropical North Queensland are the beautiful Northern Beaches. Identified by the swaying palm trees, sandy beaches and tropical outlook, the Cairns Northern Beaches as they're known. never fail to delight our visitors.

Water activities can be enjoyed at the beaches almost year round due to our wonderful climate. In the summer months, as with most tropical locations, we have the visits from marine stingers/box jellyfish. Our beach locations have adapted to this natural problems by implementing "stinger enclosures" and the beauty of most resorts and beachfront holiday spots is they have pools which overlook the ocean, and you don't need to worry about sand in your drink if you take it poolside !
