Groceries
Our local supermarket is located in the Coastwatcher Shopping Centre approximately ½ kilometre from here along Trinity Beach Road, and is open every day from 7:00am to 9:00pm. They offer fresh and cooked foods, a great deli section, fresh fruit and vegetables and just about anything else you could possibly need for your holiday! They will happily drive you back to Amaroo with your supplies purchased between 9:00am and 7:00pm. We can also organise delivery of your groceries before you arrive. Just fax or email your order through and we’ll have them packed away so that all you have to do when you arrive is relax!

Bus Service
Our local ‘Sunbus’ provides a service which will take you south to Cairns or north to Palm Cove. The Bus Stop is down the end of the street at the corner of Moore Street and Trinity Beach Road. Buses run approximately half-hourly during the week and hourly on weekends. All day tickets are available.

Car Rental
Our local “Cruising Car Rentals” provide guests with excellent service and competitive rates. If you are interested in exploring the region by car, we’ll be happy to talk to you about the many trips you can do, provide maps and arrange a rental for you. For your convenience, cars can be dropped back into Cairns on your day of departure and staff from “Cruising Car Rentals” will happily drive you to the airport, railway or bus station.

Golf
There are several excellent courses in the area, including Half Moon Bay at Yorkey’s Knob and Paradise Palms at neighbouring Clifton Beach.
