Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier Reef is the only living structure visible on earth from the moon !

One of the true wonders of the world, the reef provides a holiday experience that is as unforgettable as it is valuable. The Great Barrier Reef is one of the most diverse and delicate ecosystems in the world. The ribbon reefs north of Cairns, including magnificent Agincourt Reef (Quicksilver's destination) are renowned for their excellent year round water clarity and coral formations. The reef lagoon at Agincourt offers ideal swimming and snorkelling areas.

Scuba diving on Agincourt is amongst the best in the world, for the more adventurous traveller. With a vast majority of the 1,500 species of multi-coloured reef fish and 400 varieties of magnificent corals, found on the Great Barrier Reef, this is truly an underwater wonderland.

Quicksilver

Quicksilver's friendly crew will take you to a reef at the very edge of Australia's Continental Shelf, Agincourt Reef, where you'll see a world of underwater brilliance that is hard to imagine until you've been there !

This magnificent ribbon reef lets you experience the Great Barrier Reef up close and personal. You may choose to dive, snorkel, or even explore the stunning reef from the comfort of a Quicksilver semi-sub, so you get a close-up view of the reef without even getting wet !

Watch the fish feeding from Quicksilver's unique underwater viewing platform and underwater observatory. There's even the option to travel by helicopter and land at our magnificent reef pontoon.
